Illinois Animal Rescue is always in need of monetary donations year round for the following:

• IAR provides crucial Heartworm tests, vaccinations and Feline Leuk/FIV tests to needy shelters and county animal controls throughout Illinois. These items are needed on a weekly basis.
• IAR provides dog and cat food to both the needy shelters and the volunteer network to keep our live saving programs going.
• IAR pays for heartworm treatment for dogs that would otherwise be euthanized for this treatable disease. An average treatment costs $250 (that's for one dog!).
• IAR provides gas and transportation to get our wonderful urgent Illinois dogs and cats to safety. This is a growing cost we need your help with. Life saving transports are not possible without you.

There are many items you can donate to help support Illinois Animal Rescue, including:

Vans/Vehicles
Illinois Animal Rescue is in need of vans to transport the animals to safety. Please consider donating a gently used van to our fight to rescue the animals.

Crates/Condos
We are always in needs of additional crates and condos to transport and show our animals. Crates and condos can be dropped off at any of our events, or dropped off at Illinois Animal Rescue 531 Lake Court, Wauconda, IL 60084.

Medication
Most organizations will not accept animals that are not vaccinated, treated for fleas and ticks, dewormed and tested for Heartworm Disease (dogs) and Feline Leukemia/FIV (cats). The rescuers are paying for these things out of their own pockets, for fear that the animals may not even be considered. If you can help donate at least one item below, you will have saved a life.
