Illinois Animal Rescue is a group of individuals, groups, volunteers, workers, veterinarians, independent rescuers, humane investigators, transporters, humane societies and organizations, shelters, not-for profit organizations, pounds, well... Just regular people, scattered throughout the state of Illinois and beyond. We strive for the rescue and humane care and treatment of the animals in our community, state and throughout our country. Together we are saving over 7,000 precious lives annually.
Illinois Animal Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)(3), not for profit and no-kill. Our goals are to ensure that every animal is treated with the respect that they deserve; to educate our communities on the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to solve the pet overpopulation problem; the humane treatment and care of all animals and the rescue and transportation of the many animals that are being put to death in our communities every day, due to no fault of their own.
We are so very appreciative of your support, and will continue to grow our network bigger and better in 2011. In the coming year, we will continue our goal to rescue every single animal in Illinois, gain exposure for the pounds in need and develop good relationships with only the best rescues that meet our criteria.
